Hello Bakery Fans,
I have found when the weather gets cold there is nothing else like a cup or bowl of hot delicious soup. I think it is a comfort to all of us somehow. We come in out of the cold and huddle a little over our soup feeling the warmth rise up from the bowl and smell the aroma of deliciousness. Anymore, I find that I close me eyes as I smell this bit of heaven and mentally picture the type of fresh bread that would make it perfect! I have so many to choose from here at Stella's. There is of course hot and spicy cheese bread but so many more too. I love the ciabatta, french baguettes, sourdough, multigrain, and cranberry walnut. Stella's is on a mission in the next few weeks to develop new and amazing soups. Come in and try out our recipes and give us your opinion. Meanwhile, if you have a favorite soup.... share with us here so we can get a sense of what you would like to see on the menu.

Dear bakery fans,
I am so excited to post on our new blog! It is a snowy day here in Madison Wisconsin but our ovens are keeping us warm and snug. It is a perfect day to be sitting in the cafe sipping some coffee or tea while delighting in one of our many pastries or treats. Even better is a bowl of soup and sandwich. Speaking of sandwiches, I can never decide which is my favorite. Some of our customers seem to have their favorites while others teeter back and forth. I like to try different ones myself and depending on my mood, I will pick a sandwich. This week I was craving our Reuben. I was wondering what your favorite sandwich might be and why. I'd love to hear....
